Current sled: 2024 Ski-Doo MXZ Blizzard 600 aka “Blizzie”

Describe yourself in 3 words: Creative, passionate, adventurous

How did your interest in sleds start? I was first introduced to snowmobiling by my husband Dave about 15 years ago. He got me my first sled—a 1991 Ski-Doo Safari—and I spent hours bombing around the fields at our family’s acreages on it. I became fully addicted after we moved to Alberta Beach 10 years ago, and I purchased my first new sled—a Ski-Doo MXZ 600 “Zeddy” in 2016. After putting nearly 10,000 kilometres on Zeddy, I upgraded to a 2024 Ski-Doo MXZ Blizzard 600 “Blizzie” last season.

Why are you a member of the ASA? To support all the hard work that has been done to develop & maintain trails across the province.

We’re so lucky to have the ASA, their member clubs, and all the hardworking volunteers that contribute to the growth & enjoyment of snowmobiling in Alberta.

What’s your “real” job? Sales & Service at Ecko Marine & Power

Who makes up your typical riding crew? Always with my riding partner for life - Dave McLean. Often with larger groups from our club or others, or with whoever we happen to run into along the way!

Favourite Alberta trail to ride? Fox Creek - we’ve ridden there so much some may think we’re locals!

Bucket list place to ride? Would love to go on a multi-day adventure in Quebec!
